Analise’s Story: I was walking into a Burger King in the middle of winter and trying to look totally hot to catch the attention of guy walking behind me. I pulled my sweater up a little to show off my butt because my jeans made my butt look great.  I then walked right onto an ice patch and fell onto my butt.  I tore the jeans but the guy quickly helped me up and….I married him two years later!

Melinda’s Story: The first pair of jeans that really made a real impression in my life were a pair that I’d inherited from my mom. They were tiny, she’d hemmed them into capri’s and they were stiff and as dark blue as brand new. I wore those jeans into the ground. They fit me like a glove and I always felt ridiculously cool in them. Vintage and a soft old band t-shirt. I wanted to be in The Outsiders and be a member of The Clash at the same time, in those, I felt I was.

Patrick’s Story: My jeans went with me all over Europe, and carried a little dirt from each country. When it came time to throw them out I just couldn’t, and made it into a shabby chic tote bag that holds my papers and junk from the trip.

Ilene’s Story: My jeans went with me all over Europe, and carried a little dirt from each country. When it came time to throw them out I just couldn’t, and made it into a shabby chic tote bag that holds my papers and junk from the trip.

Carole’s Story: Four years ago today my husband and got the news that we had permission to travel to Kazakhstan to adopt a child in their country.  We were told to pack our bags light because once in-country we would travel across the Stepps in a very small prop-plane. My husband and I each packed one pair of jeans and one formal suit for court.  We each wore these jeans every day at the orphanage, and washed them by hand each and every night for the two months we visited with our little girl.  Believe me, I was so tired of wearing these jeans over and over and over.  The first order of business was to toss them out when we got home. Now we are home with our beautiful daughter, and the jeans are old and worn-out, but I will never part with them because they remind me of the best experience of my life – my little girl.

Heather’s Story: Everyone has one favorite pair of jeans. Jeans that go with absolutely any and everything, fit the best, and are comfortable. I decided to wear my favorite pair of jeans to a party. And at this party was a ball. As I was dancing, I dipped low and the crack of my jeans split wide open. Luckily it was dark so nobody noticed! I was more sad about my fav jeans being destroyed!

Megan’s Story: I went to Disney World and lost my luggage. I wore my Jolt jeans the whole trip.

Jill’s Story: My jeans have slid down the slide at the park with my kids, got caught in a downpour trying to run for the car and rolled in the pile of leaves on the front lawn. My jeans ARE my life!!

Diane’s Story: Growing up, I really wanted a great pair of “it”  jeans.  Coming from a lower income family, the only way I would ever own a pair was to save up money from babysitting. Fortunately, my family was the only one in the immediate area with older children. All the other neighbors were just beginning their families. Babysitting jobs were plentiful; more than enough for me and my four siblings. I finally arrived at the day, saving my 50 cents an hour, to buy a pair of amazing jeans. It was one of my proudest days!! My best friend and I walked around our hometown and we took many pictures, which I still have today!

Ashley’s Story: On the fourth of July my friend had invited me over to her house to watch the fireworks. I had been dating this guy for awhile and invited him to come along also. We had been dating for awhile but I still wanted to look really cute for him. So i spent hours on my hair and finally slipped on my favorite shirt and favorite jeans. These jeans were perfect! They never got loose throughout the day or anything so of course they were my favorite. Anyways we were all by here backyard and there was this huge hill in here backyard so i started doing cartwheels down the hill. After a couple it was a ton of fun and I just kept on doing them and then finally i heard a huge RIPPPPP!!!! I fell and looked down and came to find my jeans had ripped from the front alllll the way to the my butt. Then come to find out my boyfriend had seen the whole thing!!! Talk about embarassing!
